Common leadership challenges, such as finding unique ways to inspire employees or lead a team often take center stage in leadership development.

Relevant Insight believes that every leader is a unique talent; thus, balancing confidence and collaboration, building authentic relationships, or battling the consequences of isolation at the top can feel equally individual and unique, yet seldom talked about in the larger leadership development circles.

While conventional leadership development programs address common challenges., understanding and resolving the unique challenges each leader faces on an individual basis are more pressing to an organization’s success. Offering to tackle specific challenges for leaders is becoming more and more pertinent to their holistic growth, requiring experienced ears to listen to them and provide professional feedback.

Relevant Insight makes this happen with its combined power of expert coaching and insightful assessments. It lends a ‘consultative’ arm to leaders to help them reveal and overcome the internal shortcomings hindering their growth. It achieves this by facilitating collaborative conversations.

‘Lonely at the top’ is more than a passive expression; it embodies some of the biggest internal struggles leaders face. The perception leaders often experience is a lack of trusted peers. This perceived isolation often leaves leaders making important decisions in a vacuum. Add any internal pressure associated with these big decisions, and space for second-guessing, and anxiety, increases.

Through collaborative conversations, including hard and truthful ones, Relevant Insight encourages leaders to gain new perspectives, intentionally curate a group of trusted peers, and identify how to make the critical decisions needed for their organizations more effectively.

Relevant Insight does not work from a place of gap analysis or ‘you need fixing.’ “We come from the premise that everybody is already perfectly designed. We just collaborate to help them polish their own diamond,” says Carole Stizza, PCC, SHRM-SCP, owner and executive coach at Relevant Insight.

Conversations are designed for leaders to talk about their organizational needs, their personal aspirations, the BIG goals, and the elements challenging them. These open-hearted discussions help coaches perceive the leader’s viewpoint and assessments often help both understand the patterns of why certain challenges occur. It guides both leader and coach to look at those challenges differently.

Stizza’s subject matter expertise in assessments and behavioral intelligence proves immensely helpful. Her understanding of the ripple effect of good and toxic leadership, along with her ability to dispel a wide variety of leadership myths, helps her customize the client sessions.

Stizza’s knowledge of industry-leading research in emotional intelligence, leadership thinking, positive psychology, and resilience helps Relevant Insight’s coach approach draw out the most relevant conversations for their clients.

This broad range of knowledge and expertise helped a recent leader who, despite her renowned skills, found getting promoted to the C-suite more challenging than expected. This leader had built a phenomenal team yet struggled with the task delegation needed to develop them further. Adding in her outdated methods of time management and her desire to avoid public speaking, she finally acknowledged that new habits were required.

Relevant Insight efficiently understood her goals and her challenges and revealed new ways to overcome the hurdles she faced. A four-month-long engagement concluded with the client gaining her due promotion. Identifying where the client was willing to grow and giving her the tools to achieve it helped Relevant Thinking accomplish the task in one of the shortest and most efficient time frames ever.

Just as the pandemic paved the way for more meaningful conversations around mental wellness and the influence work had on those leading from home, Relevant Insight concentrates on the choices leaders face, whether it is perceptions of the work needed or how they define success. Everything is a choice. Every choice has a cost. The goal is to help leaders choose the specific and unique path that elevates their genius
